Thomas runs FRT Brandschutz, a fire protection company based in Hohenems, Vorarlberg, Austria. With years of experience in the fire brigade, Thomas is fully committed to fire safety, offering services such as fire protection concepts, construction support, fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors.

How has your work or organisation changed since you started using the VR Fire Trainer?

We took a big risk by converting our training programme to the VR Fire Trainer. We were concerned about how the training would be received by our customers. However, we have been greatly assisted in the preparation - we are saving an enormous amount of time and can even offer the training at a lower cost. We are also doing our bit for the environment.

Do you have any key metrics for your improvement?

The VR Fire Trainer has halved the time we spend on this. This also greatly reduces the costs for our customers and we can complete the training in an environmentally friendly and accident-free manner.
