NORWAY REQUIRES VR FIRE TRAINING IN HOT WORK COURSES

Get ready for a VR shakeup in the future of hot work courses. On June 5th 2024, The Building Committee of Finance Norway Insurance Operations (FNF) has decided to begin the process of phasing out traditional fire training, in hot work courses.

“In the interests of the environment and sustainability, it has been decided that traditional sharp exercises should be phased out of the scheme. From 1.1.2027, only digital exercises (VR exercises) are approved in connection with courses in hot works.”
